4. Change order 요구를 Reject 할 때

Further to your letter of ______________, we feel that some clarification is necessary.

We requested vendor to show on the drawings details of accessory arrangements in order that the detail design could be fully evaluated and the user could ensure that the _____________ in accordance with the designer’s intention. In view of the safety consideration we feel that the requested details should be part of any design.

Based on above and the fact that we will supply the lifting accessories, we decline to issue a change order for this item. We hope this clarifies our position on this matter.

해석 : 귀사의 __________에 관한 서신에 대하여 당사는 좀더 설명이 필요하다고 느끼고 있습니다.

상세설계를 충분히 평가할 수 있도록 하고, 사용자로 하여금 ________이 설계자의 의도에 따랐다는 확신을 가질 수 있게 하기 위하여, 당사는 vendor에 액세서리 배치에 관한 상세도면을 표시하도록 요청한 바 있습니다. 안전고려의 측면에서 보면 당사는 요청하신 바의 상세사항은 모든 설계의 한 부분으로 포함 되어져야 한다고 느낍니다.

위에 표기한 바에 근거하고 또한 lifting accessories를 당사에서 공급할 예정이라는 사실에 의거, 당사는 이 항목에 대한 change order를 발행하는 것을 거절합니다. 당사는 이것이 이 사안에 대한 우리의 자세를 명확히 해 줄
것으로 기대합니다.

5. 수정작업을 요구 하였으나 가격증가 및 납기지연이 심각하여 요구사항을 철회할 때

With regard to your change order request;

At the time of technical bid evaluation we did not have a definitive response from you as to whether the subject could be included into original.

The requirements for archiving the facility were included in the specifications based on the assumption that this was technically feasible without additional cost.

As vendor has now investigated and advised that the facility is not technically feasible, we will waive this requirement from the specifications.

As such, we hereby instruct vendor to not proceed with this change order item.

해석 : 귀사의 change order 요청에 대하여;

입찰에 대한 기술검토를 할 때에, 표제의 건이 본 order(original)에 포함 될 수 있는가에 대하여 당사는 귀사로부터 명확한 답변을 받지 못했습니다.

설비를 보존하기위한 요구사항은, 이것이 추가비용 없이 기술적으로 가능하다는 가정에 근거하여, 사양서에 포함되어 있습니다.

Vendor가 조사를 하였고 그 설비는 기술적으로 불가능하다고 알려왔으므로, 당사는 이 요구사항을 사양서에서
철회 하겠습니다.

따라서, 당사는 vendor에 이 change order 항목을 진행하지 말도록 지시하는 바입니다.
